Monday: the gourmet market of Coupiac
Every Monday evening in July and August, the village of Coupiac welcomes its famous gourmet market "Les Lundis au Pays". Local producers offer gourmet dishes to compose according to your desires: aligot, grilled meats, seasonal vegetables, cheeses, pastries and ice cream.
Tables are set up in the heart of the village to enjoy a convivial meal, often accompanied by musical entertainment. This is one of the most popular evenings in South Aveyron.
Tuesday: the night market of Combret
Head to the charming medieval village of Combret for a small-scale farmers market. Every Tuesday evening in summer, local producers welcome you with their specialties: meats, cheeses, honey, vegetables, wines and artisanal desserts.
The atmosphere is family and authentic, ideal to discover the flavors of the territory in a peaceful setting on the banks of the Rance.
Wednesday: Saint-Sernin-sur-Rance
On Wednesday evening, go to Saint-Sernin-sur-Rance, where a gourmet market of producers animates the leisure center. You can compose your meal directly with the producers, dine outdoors and enjoy the summer entertainment.
It’s a great family outing, about thirty minutes from Saint-Affrique.
Thursday: the gourmet markets of Saint-Affrique
Impossible to stay near Saint-Affrique without discovering the famous gourmet markets of Les Fermiers de l'Aveyron. Organized several Thursdays during the summer in the public garden, they bring together many farmers offering dishes prepared on site: aligot-sausage, duck, lamb, cheeses, wines, craft beers, desserts...
Concerts and entertainment make these evenings particularly festive. A true showcase of Aveyron gastronomy.
Friday: Saint-Victor-et-Melvieu or Saint-Rome-de-Tran
To end the week, several villages in the area offer night markets on Fridays. Depending on the dates, you will be able to enjoy:
the night market of Saint-Victor-et-Melvieu;
from the gourmet market of Saint-Rome-de-Tran;
or "Un vendredi, un producteur" in Marnhagues-et-Latour, a great opportunity to meet directly the local producers.
